Inventory Overview
The Inventory page is a database containing information on all pieces of art currently or previously shown in your gallery. The more information you put in at this stage, the more options you will have to filter and produce specific reports. The inventory page allows you to upload images and add details to the images through the following options:
New: Add details of a single image. Basic options including title, artist, medium, dimensions and pricing. More advance options include transaction information and provenance of piece
Load: Add multiple images from your computer simultaneously. Once uploaded the details for each piece will need to be entered
Delete: Delete selected files
Slides: View selected files as a slideshow
Select all: This is a toggle button enabling you to select all images with one click and deselect them with the second click
Print: Print off catalogues, price lists, information sheet and wall labels for the images you have selected
View images as:
Thumbnails: 12 per page
Large images: 3 per page
List view: A list of all items in table view
Clear all filters and refresh data: Removes any filters applied and updates the data to view the whole selection of artwork.
Navigation arrows: Help you move through your gallery pages.
Filter the Order: Select how you want to view your art, whether by artist, date of upload, production date or category.
On the right hand side of the screen is an area where you can filter the artwork through Title, Artist, Category, Tags, and Customer. You can also filter on whether they are available to purchase, what their acquisition status is and whether have been grouped for a show. This will enable you to view just the works of art relevant to the project in hand.
